Fire Breaks Out In Manayunk Sunday During StrEAT Food Festival
A firefighter was reportedly injured during the blaze.
A fire broke out Sunday in Manayunk during the popular StrEAT Food Festival, according to the Philadelphia Fire Department. One firefighter is reported to have been injured in the fire.
The fire broke out at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday in a vacant building at Main Street and Leverington Avenue, the fire department said.
By about 4:24 p.m., crews had the fire under control.

Fox 29 reports one firefighter was taken to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The fire is under investigation, but Fox reports neighbors believe homeless people who frequent the vacant building may have caused the fire.
