'Flying' Truck Plows Into Pumps At Suburban Philadelphia Gas Station After Possible Cop Chase

An eyewitness said truck was "flying" when it hit the pump, and then caught fire.

A pickup truck crashed into pumps and caught fire at a suburban Philadelphia gas station in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

The truck crashed into pumps at a Speedway station on Route 130 near South Hannevig Avenue in Brooklawn, N.J. about 3 a.m., according to NBCPhiladelphia.

An eyewitness said he was outside the nearby Brooklawn Diner smoking a cigarette when he saw the truck barreling, police lights not far behind him, across a traffic circle, according to the report.

The truck hit a curb and went clear across the circle, then crashed into the pump after it went “flying” and appeared to be traveling at least 70 mph. The driver was reportedly hospitalized with serious injuries, according to the report.

The driver was reportedly injured after his vehicle struck the gas pump and caught fire, according to the Courier Post.
