Forecast Looks Good for Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival

The weather forecast is looking good for Manayunk’s biggest food celebration.

The fall StrEAT Food Festival Manayunk is set for Sunday, and the Weather Channel is calling for mostly sunny skies that day with temperatures in the low 80s.

The festival kicks off Restaurant Week, which will be held Sunday to Friday October 10.

The city’s top food trucks, local vendors and restaurants will be at the StrEAT Food Festival to showcase their offerings on Main Street, which is closed to traffic during the celebration.

Since it will be fall, the day will feature seasonal treats, including apple-themed specials. There will also be sidewalk sales and live entertainment. New this year is a kid-friendly recess area and a beer garden.

During Restaurant Week, Manayunk eateries will be offering three course meals for $15, $25, and $35. Click here to view restaurant week menus.
