Gorgas Park Harvest Festival is This Sunday

Gorgas Park is hosting the 17th Annual Harvest Festival this Sunday, Oct. 12th from 11 to 4 p.m.

“The family event is an action-packed fun day that includes kids games and rides, scarecrow making and pumpkin painting, live music, great food and a crafter’s area with over 25 vendors,” according to an announcement from organizers.

The event, organized by the Friends of Gorgas Park, continues to grow in popularity each year.

“The Harvest Festival culminates what has been an excellent season of festivals, concerts and movies in 2014,” the announcement said.
