Halloween in Manayunk Events Kick Off Thursday

Three days of Halloween festivities are about to kick off in Manayunk.

The fun begins Thursday with Manayunk Theatre Company’s performance of Splatter at Bourbon Blue at 7 p.m.

On Friday, there will be Haunted Chewy Philly Food Tours at 11:30 a.m. Plus, there will be a Halloween Family Movie Night at the Venice Island Performing Arts & Recreation Center at 6:30 p.m.

Halloween in Manayunk will culminate Saturday with the following festivities:

8 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Philadelphia Flea Market along Main Street from Rector to Lock St.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Farmers Market in Pretzel Park

12 - 4 p.m.: Trick or Treating along Main Street

12:30 - 6 p.m.: Fall Festival in Pretzel Park

1 p.m.: Doggie and Kid Costume Parade

2 p.m.: BYOP – Bring your own carved pumpkin contest

3 p.m.: Zombie Thriller Dance Off

6 p.m.: Halloween Fire along Manayunk canal
