Help Cleanup Roxborough This Weekend

The weather is getting nicer and we're about to be spending more time outdoors and enjoy the beauty of the Philadelphia area.

But some spring cleaning is in order, and you can help clean up Roxborough this weekend so your outdoor adventures include clean and tidy views.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, the public is invited to help clean up the Roxborough area.

The day will include clearing planters, raking, removing debris and overgrowth.

Depending on the availability of plant materials the day of the cleanup, volunteers will be able to plant new plants, as well.

Trash will also be cleaned up during the event.

Tools, gloves, and other equipment will be provided to volunteers.

Volunteers will meet at 6111 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia before the cleanup.
