Hey Gearheads: The 15th Annual Rockin' the Ridge Car Show Is Next Weekend

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – Get ready Roxborough-area gear heads: the 15th Annual Rockin' the Ridge Car Show is heading back to Roxborough next weekend and promises to bring the region's coolest cars to the area.

The annual car show will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 13 along Ridge Avenue between Hermitage and Fountain streets.

"Our 15th Annual Rockin’ The Ridge Car Show is an incredible accomplishment for the car club, which over the years has fueled our annual fundraising efforts for community and youth programming," Paul Morroney, President of the Roxborough Ridge Runners Car Club, said in a statement. "In celebration of our 15th year anniversary we are excited to announce a live musical performance by Roney and the El Dorados along with BBQ provided by Roxborough’s own Deke’s BBQ."

Not only will attendees get to see the cars, enjoy live tunes, and much on local foods, they will be able to check out numerous fun and recreational activities for children.

The free event is a "a must see auto event among automotive enthusiasts and Philadelphia residents."

The annual car show is supported by Nationwide DeFinis Agency, Maaco, 101.1 More FM and the Roxborough Development Corporation.
