Honor Area Veterans At Gorgas Park Saturday

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Area veterans will be honored this weekend at the Annual Hospitalized Veterans Tribute Concert and Picnic at Gorgas Park in Roxborough.
The event is being hoisted by the 21st Ward Veterans Association Join.
It all starts at 10am on Saturday, July 27 as we welcome our Hospitalized Veterans from the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

Attendees will line the Walk of Honor as hospitalized veterans are joined with local veterans who served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
The Merion Concert Band, Old Academy Players, The Savoy Opera Company, and a dramatic reading from Mark Twain will entertain the crowd.

Roxborough's Ridge Runners Car Club will have classic vehicles on display, as well.
Attendees will be able to enjoy food and activities for the while family.
