'Inside Out' Art Exhibit Coming To Manayunk May 15

"Inside Out" takes art out of the museums and galleries and into the streets across Philadelphia and the surrounding area.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – Manayunkers who love art will have an excuse to get out and enjoy the summer weather soon. The Philadelphia Museum of Art's Inside Out outdoor art exhibits are returning to the city and Manayunk will be home to one.

Starting May 15, Inside Out displays will be set up around the city.

"Inside Out brings large-scale, high-quality replicas of favorite works from the Museum’s collection to neighborhoods in and around Philadelphia," according to the museum's website.

The spring installations are also hitting Media in Delaware County, East Passyunk, and Haddonfield, New Jersey.

Spring exhibits will be on display until mid August.

Art lovers can participate in a new Instagram contest this year.

"Simply Instagram a photo of Inside Out in your city and tag it #InsideOutUSA from Friday, June 9, through Monday, June 12," the museum's website reads. "Prizes will be awarded to a winner in each Inside Out city, with a national winner chosen from the local winners."
