76 East Reopens 12 Hours Later After Deadly, Fiery DUI Crash
PennDOT said the crash occurred at about 2:44 a.m. and closed the road. The road reopened about 12 hours later.

PHILADELPHIA — Eastbound Interstate 76 is open again after a deadly, fiery crash closed it for roughly 12 hours Wednesday, according to PennDOT.
The crash occurred at about 2:44 a.m. 76 east between the Montgomery Drive/West River Drive exit and the US 13/US 30 West exit.
PennDOT said the road was open again at about 3 p.m.

NBC10 reports a 19-year-old man who was under the influence was in a stolen vehicle trying to reverse on the highway when he struck the truck.
The truck driver, a Florida man, died as a result of the crash.

According to Fox 29, truck caught fire and some of the charred wreckage fell down to Sweetbriar Drive below the overpass in Fairmount Park.
