Jeep Damages Trails, Kills Wildlife In Schuylkill Center

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Officials with the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education are asking for help finding who drove a Jeep though the center, causing damage to hiking trails and footbridges as well as killing native plants and wildlife.

Officials said a black jeep was off-roading through the center on March 29 and April 7.

The Jeep was found abandoned on the morning of April 8 and was retrieved later that day.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any additional information on the vandalism is asked to contact Steve Goin, Director of Land and Facilities, at steve@schuylkillcenter.org or (215) 853-6782.

Anyone who sees a vehicle on the trails is asked to call 911 to give a detailed description, noting the time and location.
