Kelly Drive Closing For Regatta Saturday

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Another regatta on the Schuylkill River will close a portion of Kelly Drive this weekend, according to Philadelphia Police.

The Schuylkill Navy Regatta will close a portion of Kelly from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17.

The road will be closed between Strawberry Mansion Bridge and Fountain Green Drive, police said.

Southbound Kelly Drive traffic will be detoured up the Strawberry Mansion ramp to Fountain Green Drive, via Reservoir Drive.

Northbound Kelly Drive traffic will be detoured up Fountain Green Drive, along the same route.

Sufficient detour signs will be posted along the detour routes to aid drivers in navigating the detour.

Police said delays will be minimal.
