Lockdown At Area High School, Person In Custody: Reports

A “person of interest” has been arrested after a lockdown was initiated at a Philadelphia public school on Wednesday morning, according to 6 ABC.

The lockdown was ordered after a report came in that a student may have a gun, according to the report.

The suspect, a male juvenile, was taken into police custody at 10th and Nedro Streets near the Fern Rock SEPTA station, the report states.

The arrested individual did not have a gun on his person, and officials have stated that no gun was found inside the school, according to the report.
