Man Charged In Connection With Area Paintball Gun Assaults

Philadelphia Police made an arrest in connection with the five paintball gun assaults that occurred in Roxborough, Manayunk, and Mt. Airy in early March, according to Philadelphia Police.

Kadene Bryant, 21, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody on March 23 and was charged with five counts each of: aggravated assault; possessing an instrument of crime; simple assault; recklessly endangering another person; and related crimes, police said.

Kadene was released on March 24 after posting 10 percent of $5,000 bail, according to court records.

Kadene is slated to appear for his preliminary hearing on April 6, court documents show.

Kadene is suspected of assaulting five people with a paintball gun in Mt. Airy, Roxoborugh, and Manayunk on March 7.
