Man Dies After Fight With Roxborough Homeowner: Police

The owner saw the man near a vehicle in his backyard and engaged in a struggle with him. The man later died after being knocked unconscious.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A man died after being involved in an altercation with a Roxborough homeowner early Wednesday morning, according to police.

Police said a 32-year-old black man died at about 6 a.m. after being involved in an altercation with a man who lives on the 8100 block of Ridge Avenue.

According to police, there were no weapons involve din the altercation.

Action News reports the homeowner saw the man in his backyard near a car at about 5:02 a.m. Wednesday.

The homeowner and the man struggled with one another, NBC10 reports.

When police arrived, the man was unconscious, according to police.

No arrests have been made and police are investigating the death.
