Man Struck, Killed By Amtrak Train In Philadelphia: Report
A man was reportedly killed on Friday morning after he was struck by an Amtrack train in Philadelphia.
A man was hit and killed by an Amtrak train in Philadelphia on Friday morning, Philly.com reports.
The incident occurred just before 7:58 a.m. near the Torresdale Station in Northeast Philadelphia.
The tracks were closed after the accident and were returned to full service within two hours, officials said. Service on SEPTA's Trenton Regional Rail Line was also suspended briefly in the wake of the incident.

It's not the first incident involving Amtrak in this area of Philadelphia in recent weeks. On November 5, a teenage girl was struck and killed at State Road and Linden Avenue, close by where Friday's incident occurred.
The accident is currently under investigation.
