Man Robbed At ATM On New Years Eve Near Roxborough

ROXBOROUGH, PA - Philadelphia Police are looking for a suspect in a robbery on New Years Eve.

The victim, a 33-year-old male, was at a BP gas station on West Allegheny Avenue at about 2:52 a.m.

He was using an ATM machine when the suspect approached him from behind.

The suspect, a male, grabbed the man’s money from his hand and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect arrived at the station in a late 90’s to early 2000 silver Mercury Grand Marquis or Ford Crown Victoria sedan with dark tinted side windows.

After fleeing with the victim’s money, the suspect returned to the area approximately two minutes later, motioning towards the vehicle as he walked away.

The suspect was accompanied by a second man,

  Suspect #1: Black male, early to mid 20 years-of-age, medium brown complected, thin build, wearing a black puffy hooded coat, blue jeans, and black/white sneakers.
  Suspect #2: Black male, early to mid 20 years-of-age, medium brown complected, medium build, wearing a gray/black hooded jacket with the hood up, dark colored pants, and dark colored sneakers.
