Man Stole $3K In Items From Roxborough, Manayunk CVS Stores: Cops

Police said the man stole cold and allergy medications from a Roxborough CVS, the about 30 minutes later stole items from a Manayunk CVS.

ROXBOROUGH-MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — A man is wanted by Philadelphia Police for stealing more than $3,000 worth of over-the-counter medications CVS locations in Roxborough and Manayunk about 30 minutes apart.

According to police, a man came into the CVS store at 518 Port Royal Ave. at 9:14 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

He then filled up a red shopping bag with various cold and allergy medications then left store without paying.

A short while later at 9:49 p.m. that same day, the same male entered the CVS store located at 3780 Main Street in Manayunk.

There, he took various over the counter cold and allergy medications, police said.

He left the store in an unknown direction and manner without paying for the items, police said.

The total value of items taken from both stores was $3,687.12, according to police.
