We're continuing our spotlight of Manayunk area nonprofits through the holiday season.

MANAYUNK, PA -- While Manayunk is known for its bustling downtown district, small businesses, history, and entrepreneurial spirit, there are several local nonprofits in the surrounding area working tirelessly to ensure that the region can fulfill it's potential.
The Friends of the Wissahickon is one such organization, working to protect the unique environment of the Wissahickon Valley, an oasis of nature in the heart of the city.
