Manayunk Man Accused Of Raping Underage Victim
A 28-year-old Manayunk man is accused of raping an underage victim in Manayunk Monday, police said.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — A Manayunk man is facing charges of rape, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, and more, according to Philadelphia Police.
Michael Kaufman, 28, of Manayunk, has been charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, contact with minor, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, prohibited offensive weapons, indecent assault, corruption of minors, and simple assault, police said.
Authorities allege Kaufman committed a sexual assault on a minor victim on the 4600 block of Umbria Street on Monday, June 24.

Police said Kaufman lives on the 4600 block of Umbria Street.
Kaufman met a 14-year-old girl on the app Skout and met her in a park Monday, police said. The girl posed as an older woman.

Police said the girl and her 19-year-old cousin met Kaufman at the park then went to his Umbria Street home.
The cousin left and police said that's when allegedly Kaufman raped the victim.
