Manayunk-Roxborough Art Exhibit To Open April 10
The Manayunk-Roxborough area is a hub for great locally-produced art. See what's in store at their next upcoming exhibit - which is free.
ROXBOROUGH -- “Swirling Color, Striving Soul” will feature landscapes and abstract paintings by Susan Shipley along with artwork in various media and styles by members of the Manayunk-Roxborough Artists’ Co-Op, a recent press release states.
The opening reception will be Sunday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gallery at the Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center, 419 Green Lane (rear). The reception includes an art demonstration and participation for children, light refreshments and a raffle of an original artwork by a co-op member.
Additional exhibit dates are April 16, 17, 23 and 24. Gallery hours at MRAC are Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
