Woman Found Injured On Cynwyd Heritage Trail: Police

Lower Merion Police said the woman, 42 of Manayunk, was found Tuesday morning by a jogger suffering from head and body injuries.

BALA CYNWYD-MANAYUNK, PA — Lower Merion Township Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a woman who was found injured on the Cynwyd Heritage Trail Tuesday morning.

A jogger told police they found a possible "homeless person" laying along the trail near the Manayunk Trail Bridge at about 5:46 a.m. Tuesday.

The woman, 42 of Manayunk, was suffering from injuries to her head and body and has been exposed to the cold, police said.

She was taken to Lankenau Medical Center for treatment.
