Missing Drexel Student Found Dead In California: Officials
Andrew Yun, 19, was found dead on the West Coast after being last seen Wednesday, June 12 near Drexel's campus.

PHILADELPHIA — A 19-year-old Drexel University student who was reported missing last week has been found dead in California, according to the university.
Drexel's Vice President and Dean of Student Life Subir Sahu said Andrew Yun, 19, was found dead Monday, June 17 in Los Angeles.
Sahu said there was no evidence of foul play.

Yun, a native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, was last seen at 3 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, on the 100 block of North 34th Street.
Yun was a first-year student majoring in film and television at the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.

"Andrew showed great promise and potential in his first year at Drexel," Sahu said. "His loss is deeply felt by all of us in the Drexel community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Yun family during this most difficult time. We will continue to support them in any way possible."
With the tragic announcement, Drexel said its Counseling Center is available to offer their services to all students in need of support. Patch has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department for more information and will update the story when details are made available.
