New Road Race Along Manayunk Tow Path To Benefit CHOP
A unique, fun event for a great cause in Manayunk.

MANAYUNK -- The “5forCHOP” road race will take place on May 21 at 8:30 a.m.
Registration will be held at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center on 1 Rector St.
Runners may regsiter today for the first annual 5forCHOP, a 5-mile running race along the beautiful Manayunk Canal Tow Path to benefit The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Included in CHOP’s renowned Daisy Days schedule of fundraiser events, 5forCHOP is a great way to enjoy a scenic 5-mile run at a perfect time of year.

USATF-certified 5-mile running course. Race After party features a DJ, kids’ activities and a free drink ticket for each adult participant. Runners receive high quality, performance tech T-shirts and souvenir pint glasses. Prizes given for the top run finishers in various age groups.
Team challenge winner receives a restaurant gift card. Kids get to submit T-shirt designs in a contest for the Fun Run shirts. 1-Mile Walk, Kid’s Fun Run, Flywheel class and volunteer opportunities so everyone can participate.
