Night Market 2016 Kicks Off Thursday In Roxborough

ROXBOROUGH -- The area's coolest food truck, live music, and community event is making a stop in Roxborough on May 12.

Road closures for the event have been announced, the Roxborough Development Corporation said.

Ridge Avenue from Roxborough Avenue to Fountain Street will be shut down from 3 p.m. to midnight.

No parking will be permitted on that stretch from 2 p.m. to midnight.

Live music will be held at two locations, both facing Ridge Avenue, in Gorgas Park and at Ridge and Monestary.

Night Market will kick-off the season in Roxborough on May 12. The foodie fun continues in Callowhill (June 23), West Philly (September 1) and a still-to-be-announced location (October 1).
