Nighttime Lane Restrictions Scheduled for I-76, I-95
Lanes on I-95 and I-76 will be closed throughout Montgomery County and Philadelphia for bridge repair, PennDOT has announced.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 76 in Interstate 95 next week for bridge repairs.
Work will begin on Sunday, July 17 at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning. One lane will be closed on westbound Interstate 76 at Interstate 476 in West Conshohocken, PennDOT said.
Officials added that on Monday, July 18 through Thursday, July 21, overnight closures will be in effect on one northbound I-95 lane between the Walt Whitman Bridge and Washington Avenue in Philadelphia. The closure will begin at 8 p.m. and run to 5 a.m.

During the same hours on Wednesday night, July 20, one southbound I-95 lane will be closed from Washington Avenue to the Walt Whitman.
The repairs operations are part of PennDOT’s initiative to repair bridge decks and seal joints on bridges in the Philadelphia region to help preserve and maintain the bridges, they said in a press release.
