'No One Needs To Die:' Armed Robbers Hit 2 Philadelphia 7-Elevens
Two 7-Eleven stores in Philadelphia were robbed at gunpoint in just about 30 minutes in early August, according to police.
PHILADELPHIA – An armed man told employees at two Philadelphia 7-Eleven stores "it’s not worth your life" and "no one needs to die for us" during two robberies that occurred in just about a half hour on Aug. 5, police said.
According to Philadelphia Police, the robberies occurred Aug. 5 at 12:30 a.m. at the 5259 Oxford Ave. 7-Eleven and then at 1:05 a.m. at the 5231 Harbison Ave. 7-Eleven.
One man armed with a handgun entered the stores while the other stood as a lookout, police said.

In both cases, employees put an undisclosed amount of cash in a black backpack before the men fled the areas, police said.
The armed man told workers that trying to stop the robbery was "not worth your life" and that "no one needs to die for us," police said.
