Paintball Gun Assaults Reported In Roxborough And Manayunk: Police
Five different assaults with a paintball gun happened Tuesday night in Roxborough, Manayunk, and Mt. Airy, police said.

Philadelphia Police are reporting five aggravated assault incidents that occurred in the evening of Tuesday March 7, some one occurring in the Mt. Airy area and the rest in the Roxborough-Manayunk area.
According to police, the first incident occurred at 1:35 p.m., the victim was in the area of 8100 Ridge Ave. in Roxborough when two black males pulled up in an older model White Dodge/Chrysler Caravan, lowered the passenger side window and shot the victim two times with a paintball gun, striking him twice in the chest, police said.
The vehicle then fled and was last seen south on Ridge Avenue.

The victim suffered two welt spots on his chest which did not require medical attention, accordion got police.
The driver was described as between 15 to 20 years old and the passenger was described as 15 to 20 years old and was wearing a black hat, and a black hooded sweatshirt, police said.

Later at 8:40 p.m., in the area of 6600 Ridge Ave. in the Roxborough-Manayunk area when an unknown occupant of a White Dodge/Chrysler Caravan shot the victim who was walking in the left leg and stomach with a paintball gun.
The vehicle then fled the area and was last seen north on Ridge Avenue from the area. The victim was transported to Roxborough Hospital for treatment, police said.
A short while later at 9:25 pm in the area of 215 West Walnut Lane in Mt.Airy, a second victim was shot in the head with a paintball gun, police said.
No injuries were reported during this incident, according to police.
The suspect was inside a white mini-van who then fled in an unknown direction, according to police.
At 11:08 p.m., a third victim was riding his bike in the area of 6000 Ridge Ave. in Manayunk when he was approached by an unknown black male in his late teens who was operating a 2001-2007 white Chrysler/Dodge Caravan with tinted windows, police said.
The suspect pulled a paintball gun and fired it at the victim, striking him in the area of his left eye, according to police.
The vehicle fled the area and was last seen on Bells Mills Road.
The victim required six stitches to his eye, police said.
About 30 minutes later at 11:36 p.m., a fourth victim was jogging in the area of 600 Wises Mills Road in Roxborough when a black male inside a white Older Chrysler/Dodge Caravan with fog-lights in the front bumper fired a paintball gun striking him in the back, knocking him to the ground, police said.
The complainant suffered scrapes to his hands as a result of this incident, according to police.
The public should not approach the suspects and should call 911 immediately if they are spotted.
