Friends of McMichael Park are participating in the City Wide Clean-up on Saturday, April 7th at 1PM. There are 22 benches in McMichael Park that have not been painted since 2013. This past year many of the benches have been repaired with the help of PP&R. Stanley's Hardware has graciously donated paint for this afternoon project. In keeping with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation initiative and renewed efforts to contribute 100,000 hours of volunteerism city wide for this year, our Friends of McMichael Park will likewise continue to contribute to the ongoing maintenance that is required of an open green space.
