Philly Bear Caught After Evading Authorities For Days: Reports
After being spotted in East Falls and Roxborough, the infamous Philadelphia bear has been caught and will be released far from the city.
PHILADELPHIA — After being spotted in East Falls and Roxborough two days in a row, the infamous Philadelphia bear has been captured, according to reports.
Officials were able to finally tranquilize the bear Thursday evening.
CBS Philadelphia reports the bear, who area residents have called "Roxy," was found sleeping in a wooded area of Roxborough when it was tranquilized.

The bear, which was seen in East Falls Wednesday then was spotted roaming around Roxborough Thursday, weighs about 150 pounds and is 2 year old, according to Action News.
The outlet reports game officials plan to release the bear near the Berks-Schuylkill county border.
