Philly Comedian Recording First Album In Manayunk​

You can watch Philly's own Michael Brooks record his debut stand up comedy album at the Grape Room in Manayunk on Jan. 27.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – Michael Brooks, one of Philadelphia's most notable local stand up comedians, is heading to Manayunk later this month where he will record his debut album.

Brooks will record his first ever stand up album "Watch This," which will be on Philly's own Wasted Robot Records, at the Grape Room at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27.

The Grape Room is located at 105 Grape St., Manayunk.

Tickets cost $20 for premium tickets, which include seats, and $10 for general admission. Premium tickets also include a free T-shirt.

The Grape Room is a 21 and up venue.

Brooks brings a high-energy personal brand of comedy to the stage.

He performs all around the Philadelphia region and has won him a number of awards, including the WMGK John DeBella Comedy Competition in 2015, LOL at the Wilmington Grand Comedy Competition in 2016, and landed him as a finalist in Philly's Phunniest Finalist in 2017 and 2014.
