Philly Mart to Make its Venice Island Debut Next Week

The Philly Mart will hold its first market event at the Venice Island Recreation Park later this month. Vendor applications are now being accepted.

Venice Island officially opened this week, with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by the mayor.

The market focuses on selling artisan made items, including: crafts; new, vintage and upcycled jewelry; original art and photography; paintings; home textiles; ceramics; clothing; woodwork; antique and vintage housewares and more.

The market will be held one Saturday each month, starting on Oct. 18.

Each vendor space is 10 feet by 10 feet. It costs $100 per market to reserve a spot.
