'Pop Up Weed Garden' Coming To Philadelphia
"We have this really normalized beer and alcohol culture in Philly, and cannabis consumers shouldn't miss out on social use."

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- With an abundance of beer gardens popping up around the City of Brotherly Love during the warmer months, marijuana activists had an idea: a Pop Up Weed Garden.
Activists with Delaware NORML, a group dedicated to improving marijuana laws, is organizing the event on the Art Museum Steps on Thursday, October 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Refreshments and snacks are provided, but it's noted that attendees should B.Y.OW. (bring your own weed).

The event will celebrate the one year anniversary of the decriminalization of marijuana in the city.

Delaware NORML co-organizer Chris Goldstein told Philly.com that he hopes the event hopes to help people realize that weed is not something horrible.

Medical marijuana waslegalized in Pennsylvania in 2016. Montgomery County-based State Senator Daylin Leach sponsored the original bill in the senate.
