Possible Drug Lab Found In Manayunk Apartment: Police
A suspicious odor led police, hazmat crews, and Homeland Security to investigate the Roxborough Avenue residence Tuesday night.

MANAYUNK, PA – A possible drug lab was found in a Manayunk apartment Tuesday night after a suspicious odor led authorities to search the area, Philadelphia Police said.
Hazmat, bomb disposal, and Homeland Security crews responded to an apartment on the 200 block of Roxborough Avenue Tuesday at about 7:09 p.m. after receiving reports of a possible drug lab, police said.
Authorities found found a bucket of chemicals with a timer attached to it, police said.

The bucket was later determined not to be an explosive, according to police
NBC10 reports no one was inside the apartment when authorities responded and no arrests have been made.

The outlet also reports the lab was determined not to be active and posed no risk to the public.
Police said Homeland Security is investigating the incident, which has been deemed non-criminal in nature according to police.
