Evans Reelected To Pa's 3rd District: Election Results
Incumbent Democrat Dwight Evans has been reelected to his seat in the 3rd Congressional District, defeating challenger Bryan Leib.

According to state data, Evans has 273,243 votes and Leib 19,494.

As of 10:30 p.m., Evans has 155,969 votes. Leib has 9,514, according to state election data.

The margin of victory by which Evans has won continues to grow with nearly all Philadelphia County districts reporting in.
Evans has 155,969 voted while Leib has 9,514.
9:15 p.m.
Dwight Evans has been called the winner in the 3rd Congressional District Race, according to reports.
The Associated Press is reporting Evans has an insurmountable lead over Leib, with 38,001 votes to Leib's 1,993 as 15 percent of districts report in.

Evans has a commanding lead over Leib, with Evans projected as the race's winner.
As of 8:50 p.m., Evans has more than 94 percent of the vote while Lieb has over 5 percent. Only 3 percent of votes has been tallied.

Early returns show an Evans lead. So far with about 1 percent of the votes counted, incumbent Evans has 95.4 percent of the vote and Leib 4.6 percent.

Poll workers in Philadelphia's Brewerytown neighborhood reported high turnout through the day, with many voters showing up early.
More than 100 ballots were cast before 9:30 a.m. despite the heavy morning rains.
Evans, who was elected to the seat in 2016 after beating Chaka Fattah in the Democratic primary, is a North Philadelphia native and former teacher. Read Evans' full bio online here.
