Roxborough 7-Eleven Robbed At Gunpoint Recently: Police
Police said the people seen here robbed the Roxborough store, as well as another business on the same day, at gunpoint in late December.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Police are asking for help finding two people who robbed a Roxborough 7-Eleven and a two other stores in Allegheny West recently.
Police said at about 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 a man came into the 7-Eleven store located at 6101 Ridge Avenue pointing the weapon at an employee, saying "give me the money." A second suspect acted as a lookout at the store's entrance.
The suspects got $500 to $700 in cash and put it in a black oversized purse that had tan straps.

Both fled the store in an unknown direction and manner, police said.
About an hour and a half before that, the same pair robbed a Metro PCS store at 2811 North 22nd Street in Allegheny West, police said.

That robbery occurred at about 5:15 p.m. when a man wearing female Muslim-like attire went into the store located and pulled a handgun pointing it at the employees telling them to "put all the money in the bag," police said.
Again, the suspect put cash into oversized purse that was black with tan straps. He then fled the store on foot and was last seen going south on 22nd Street, police said.
Recently, the same pair robbed the Dunkin Donuts located 2145 West Lehigh Ave. on Friday, Jan. 4, at 1:05 pm.
Both went into the store armed with black handguns and pointed them at the employees and demanded money, police said.
The offenders fled the area and were last seen heading north on 22nd Street towards Westmoreland Street.
No shots were fired nor were any injuries reported during any of these robberies, police said.
One suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, medium to dark complexion, and small dreads. He was wearing full female Muslim-like attire, a dark jacket, dark sneakers with white soles, carrying a black oversized purse with tan straps, and armed with a handgun.
The second suspect was only described as a person with a stocky build who was wearing a dark jacket with white Adidas logo on upper left front and white striping on right sleeve and right pant leg, dark colored knit ski mask, brown work boots, and armed with a handgun.
