Roxborough Bank Robbed At Gunpoint Friday
A man pulled out a revolver at a Ridge Avenue bank Nov. 17 and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – A bank on Ridge Avenue in Roxborough was robbed at gunpoint last week and now the FBI/Philadelphia Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the suspect. A reward is being offered for information leading to the suspect's capture.
According to police, the robbery occurred at about 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 at the TD Bank Branch, 5501 Ridge Ave.
On that date and time, a man entered the store, approached the teller, placed a small black revolver on the counter, and demanded money, police said.

The suspect got an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank heading north on Ridge Avenue, then east on Seville Street, police said.
Police described the suspect as a black male about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build, light brown complexion, and bags under his eyes.

He was wearing a neon yellow safety vest with reflective tape with "C-80" on the back of the vest. He also wore a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark jeans and shoes, a blue scarf over his nose and mouth, white gloves, and a white hard hat, police said,
Police said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
