Roxborough Business Fire Sends Black Smoke Over Ridge Ave: Report

ROXBOROUGH -- A fire on February 15 on Ridge Avenue caused moderate damage to a local business and covered the air in black smoke, according to a report.

The incident occurred at the Community Thrift Shop on 6157 Ridge Avenue just after 2 p.m., Montgomery News reports.

The fire was contained mostly to the rear of the building.

No injuries were reported.

Some smoke damage affected the adjacent business, the Hair Cuttery.

The store was undergoing a closing sale sign and has been listed as permanently closed on Google.

An exact cause of the fire remains unknown.
