Roxborough Library Hires New Branch Manager

The Roxborough Library has a new branch manager and children’s specialist, according to an announcement from the library’s Friends organization.

Christine Casperson has been hired as the new branch manager.

Before Casperson came on board, volunteers pitched into keep children’s programs going.

“Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who are continuing to help keep our story times active during the transition. We are so grateful for your support,” the Library Friends said in an email.

Children’s story times will continue on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m., with volunteer reader Ellen and musician Todd Young this week, and Miss Miranda from the LaSalle University Art Museum next Tuesday, March 10.

Casperson will take over Tuesday morning story times starting March 17.
