Roxborough Library Plans Christmas, Hanukkah Events
This month's events include a Hanukkah celebration, a Christmas party and the library's annual Holiday Fundraising Event.

The Roxborough Library has a fun-filled month ahead, with several holiday events lined up.
The festivities begin on Monday, Dec. 8 when the library will host a Hanukkah celebration with stories, refreshments and a clay project with artist Jennifer Wankoff. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, Dec. 9, the 4th Annual Holiday Fundraising Event at will be held at Castle Roxx, 105 Shurs Lane. The fundraising event, which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., features wine, beer, food and raffles.

The cost to attend is $15 per person or $25 per family.
“Many wonderful businesses have donated items for our raffles and Bob’s Diner has donated food. We have gift cards from The Little Apple, Latitudes and Longitudes, The Secret Garden, Roma Pizza, and Merge Dance Studio, as well as three cases of beer from Yards Brewing Company,” The Roxborough Library said in an announcement.

There’s still time for businesses to donate to support the fundraiser. If your business is interested, contact libraryroxboroughfriends@gmail.com.
Then, on Monday, Dec. 22, the library will host the family Christmas party starting at 6:30 p.m.
“There may be a special guest on site to help the children celebrate,” the library said in an announcement.
