Roxborough-Manayunk Area Election Results: Pam DeLissio Wins

Election results continue to pour in from around Pennsylvania, and Roxborough-Manayunk-area voters have spoken.

Democrat Pam DeLissio has soundly defeated Republican Bill Pounds, earning 69.59 percent of the vote to Pounds' 30.37. In total, DeLissio won 17,878 votes, while Pounds won 7,801.

State Rep. DeLissio, the incumbent, held on to her seat in the state's 194th legislative district, covering Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and parts of Bala Cynwyd.

DeLissio, who lives in Roxborough, was first elected to her post in 2010. She works on the Government Reform Caucus and has been active in various leadership development programs. She is a graduate of Penn State University and Archbishop Ryan High School.
