When did you go into business? 2014
How did you come up with the name? "Wicky is a slang word for "awesome" or "cool". We make people awesome websites, so we thought it fit."
Why start a business here? "When we started our business, we were living in Tampa, FL. We decided to make a move to Philadelphia because we love the city and felt there was more opportunities career wise for us here. We've been able to connect with a lot of fellow small business owners, which has been great."
Briefly, what business are you in? "We provide branding, web design and social media management for small businesses."
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner? "Moving from Tampa to Philadelphia definitely had it's challenges. Along with changing our address on everything and getting an office space up, we had to find new places to network and find clients. Luckily, we are in a business that lets us work from anywhere, but establishing ourselves in a new city has been a challenge."
What's been your favorite moment/proudest achievement since opening? "Expertise listed us as one of the top 20 web design companies in Philadelphia."
How does your business give back/get involved in the community? "We do our best to shop small and support the fellow business owners in the community."
