Dwight Evans, who is taking over Chaka Fattah's seat in U.S. Congress, says that he will work with President-Elect Donald Trump.

Democrat Dwight Evans, who is taking over Chaka Fattah's seat in U.S. Congress, says that he will work with President-Elect Donald Trump.
Evans is moving into Pennsylvania's second district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Fattah, who had held the seat for years, was indicted and eventually found guilty in June on conspiracy charges.
Evans, along with fellow Democrat U.S. Rep. Rob Brady, won in a landslide victory over Republican Deborah Williams Tuesday.

He expressed his desire to work with Trump Wednesday as he took the train to Washington, D.C. to visit his new office.
Meanwhile, Congressman Dwight Evans is currently on train to D.C. to scope out Fattah's office. Says he'll work with President-Elect Trump.

Evans is a former Pennsylvania state representative. Pennsylvania's second Congressional district covers the Roxborough-Manayunk area and meanders into Lower Merion Township.
