Roxborough Papa John's Temporarily Closed After Health Violation
Inspectors found a total of 17 violations at the local Papa John's, but only one of them serious enough to cause the temporary closure.

ROXBOROUGH -- Roxborough's Papa John's has been temporarily closed after failing a health inspection, according to the most recent food safety inspection from the City of Philadelphia Public Health Department.
Papa John's, located on 6001 Ridge Avenue, did not have a food facility operator on hand when inspectors came, among other shortcomings listed in the report:
The food facility operator shall be the Person in Charge or shall designate a Person in Charge and shall ensure that a Person in Charge is present at the food facility during all hours of operation. There was no food safety certified present during the inspection.

Food safety inspections are routinely executed by the city's Public Health Department. In cases of negligence, some businesses are occasionally required to shut down for a short time period.
Inspectors visited Papa John's on Thursday, April 14, discovering a total of 17 violations.
