A gas leak reportedly led to a underground fire in Philadelphia on Wednesday, injuring a pair of SEPTA workers. 6ABC reports that two employees were burned during the incident.
The incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 900 block of South 49th Street, the report states. The victims were taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where they remain in stable condition.
It's not yet clear what caused the gas leak or fire.
