Sippin' By The River Moving To Manayunk Brewery
Stomp wine grapes, bob for apples, participate in a pie eating contest, and of course sip beer and wine at the Oct. 1 event.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – For 21 years, Sippin' By The River has been a favorite fall festival for those in Manayunk and the surrounding area. And 2017 marks the 22nd year of the festival, which will have a new home.
Sippin' By The River will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1, at Manayunk Brewery, 4120 Main St., Manayunk.
The 21-and-older, rain or shine event costs $35 for general admission and $45 for VIP admission. Designated drivers get in for $15 and get a complimentary food item and soft drinks.

The day will feature wine grape stomping, outdoor seating, bobbing for apples, a pie eating contest, live entertainment, and more.
All tickets include 30 sampling tickets for wine, ciders, and craft beers plus the option to purchase full glasses of either for just $3 at the bar.

Proceeds benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
General admission tickets land you the following:
- Wine sampling with dozens of options in your own custom souvenir tasting glass

VIP tickets get you all, but also one-hour early entry at noon with first-access to all wine & beer; complementary food item to help soak up those tasty samples; exclusive rare/limited release barrel-aged beer sampling;multiple complimentary cheese and cracker sampling options< custom event T-shirt to commemorate the day
All tickets purchased will be scanned when you get to the door. Attendees should be sure to bring their receipt printed or on their phone. Photo ID is required.
