Soon It Will Get Easier To Buy Beer In Pennsylvania
What do you think about new legislation that'll make it easier to buy six-packs of beer in Pennsylvania?

Legislation approving the sale of six-packs at beer distributors in Pennsylvania has been passed in both the state House and Senate, and Gov. Wolf has announced his intention to sign the bill into law.
“I have worked hard with Republicans and Democrats in the General Assembly to modernize the sale of liquor, wine, and beer in Pennsylvania in order to bring the commonwealth’s wine and spirits system into the 21st century," Wolf said in a statement Thursday.
It's not the first "modernization" of liquor laws in Pennsylvania in recent months. In August, Wolf signed into law legislation that enabled wine to be delivered directly to the homes of customers. He also signed legislation that allowed wine to be sold by private businesses, not only the state wine and spirits stores.

Beer distributors are currently only able to sell 12-packs, cases and kegs. Under the new legislation, six-packs, single cans and even growlers can be sold by distributors.
“Following my administration’s successful efforts to free the six-pack at gas stations across the commonwealth and my work with Republicans and Democrats in the legislature to pass historic liquor reform, this legislation enhances the customer experience by providing greater convenience and satisfaction to the residents of Pennsylvania," Wolf added.

In addition to single-purpose beer distributors, other outlets like restaurants, hotels, grocery stores and convenience stores will now also be able to sell six-packs.
