South Philadelphia Attack Caught On Camera

Philadelphia Police release video footage of an attack on a man in South Philly that occurred earlier this month, hoping the public can assist them in bringing the suspects into custody.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 8 p.m. on the 1200 block of South Broad Street.

Four suspects came up behind a lone 25-year-old male and attacked him, hitting him from behind, police said.

The victim fell to the ground and the suspects then began kicking and punching the victim several times, police said.

During the attack the suspects tried to take the victim's cell phone but did not get it, police said.

The four suspects then fled in an unknown direction, police said.

Police said the public should not approach the suspect and should call 911 immediately if he is spotted.
