Spring debuts this Saturday, April 14th: Time to Paint
Bench Painting in McMichael Park on Saturday April 14th at 1PM
The Friends of McMichael Park are going to try this again!
Rain/snowed us out last Saturday for our bench painting along with all the other citywide clean ups that were planned that day. Anyway, spring weather will be upon us and Mother Nature says, "NO RAIN!" We will get out the brushes and the paint and the scrapers and sanders and our 22 green benches will get done. Shout out!!! Again!!! To our Community Partner, Stanley's True Value Hardware in Roxborough for their generous support of the Friends of McMichael Park. During the past thirty years, Stanley's has provided seasonal maintenance expertise, which is shared with the steadfast FOMP volunteers who work in the park each season. Nice of them to supply paint , painting supplies, landscape supplies, hardscape materials as well as plant material, mulch and more.
