Two delicious events are just weeks away in Manayunk. The spring StrEAT Food Festival is set for April 12 and it kicks off Restaurant Week, which is April 12 to 24.
The StrEAT Food Festival, which will be held from 11 a.m. 5 p.m., will feature more than 40 food trucks serving everything from BBQ to desserts and more. Main Street will be closed to traffic during the festival.
According to organizers, local businesses will be joining the street vendors to offer sidewalk sales and promotions.

Plus, there will be live music and kids activities. Recess, a kid-friendly zone, will be located at Canal View Park and will have a moon bounce, face painting, Twister, sidewalk chalk and more.
For the adults, a beer garden will be set up Cotton Street.

The Food Festival kicks off Manayunk Restaurant Week, which features three-course meals for $15, $25 or $35.
